How to use a Pessary?

• Step 1
  

  Wash your hands.

 

• Step 2
  

  Remove any foil or plastic wrapping from the pessary.

 

• Step 3
  

  Sit or lie down with your knees bent and legs apart.

 

• Step 4
  

  Gently insert the pessary into the vagina as far as comfortably possible using your fingers.

 

• Step 5
  

  Wash your hands again.
